Useful tips

Push the plus (+) button at the bottom of the iPhone screen and select "Add to home screen" to convert the web app into a "proper" app on your home screen menu. Note: when you open your app from the main menu you will need internet access (even though the image is already loaded in cache...lame). Update: Caching now works! Once you save the app to your homescreen it will always work, even without internet connection.

An alternative is to tap and hold on the image add select "Save photo" then use the app from your iPhone's Photos app.
By the way, the iphone screen is 320 by 480 pixels, but the little status bar at the top reduces the available screen space to 320 by 465 when vertical and 305 by 480 when horizontal.
